Anlauto wheres the date code on a 2spd
Wiper motor located for cuda

No dates on 2spd motors.

Not so.  Late 1971 production ones had a red rectangular aluminum tag with four digit date and seven digit part number attached to the motor by the hex head bolt at the front of the motor(also holds down the gold coloured clamp). Dating started around May of 1971. Before that time, those tags were not on any two speed wiper motors.

Okay, I learn something today. I received a PM from another member saying they had ink stamps on them as well....I guess with the rusty old CDN cars I restored, I've never seen these things...

My reply should have said "no date codes on 2spd motors that I've come across"

I would love to see original samples of tags or stamps  :takepicture:

2926 929. The exact same part number was used on A,B,C and E Body cars. This pic. is of a late 1971 Fury. Date code is 1441.

Tag is originally a bright anodized red colour, it would still be that colour on the reverse side of this tag. Exact same colour as on some distributor tags of the same era.

Now that I see a picture, I do think I've see those before.  Thank you very much for posting  :worship:

Kinda looking in the range of 2000-3000 date code

Mr Cuda

My search is complete.  While I  found more catches for A+B body,  no more E body.
So the available date code closest is a 197 0. And it's a really pronounced stamping.
Another is 006 0, and very faint on the first 00, so unless someone looks real close, they couldn't read it.
So unless someone wanted to trade you for a closer date, thats it for now.
You can let me when you're ready,  and I got a hood loop also.

Moparmade

Ok mr cuda send me amount due for all
And how you want it sent

Thanks

Mr Cuda

Was gone longer than expected.
Sample 69 coronet catch blasted and phosphate washed.
Now to blow on some brown tone.
Then do yours and a couple for me.
That hook was rusty,  so it got garnet blasted.
Yours will get glass bead.
But the phosphate wash should even out metal color.

Ok looking good
Do you have the anchor bolts for the parts too

Mr Cuda

Experimenting with the crusty blasted cornet catch.

Moparmade

Looks good when you going to do another run of them
