I am also looking for an original AAR/TA Air Cleaner Block-off Plate.  Anyone have one for sale?

I did see that Year One sells a reproduction part.  Anybody have any feedback on the accuracy/fit of this reproduction part?

Anyone know the history of this part?  Was it to block-off some cold air during Winter driving conditions?

I had one of the repros and it's a good quality part.  The studs are little different from originals.  If memory serves, the base of the stud is a smaller diameter.  Not something anyone would see.

Floyd, I assume from the earlier posts that you purchased an original Block-Off Plate from 69 500.  Do you still have the reproduction part you mentioned?  If so, would you be interested in selling it?  PM me if so.
