Anyone ever try this place, or something like it?

It seems to be a machine shop.
They provide CAD software so that you can design whatever part you need, and then they'll make the part for you.   Multiple copies of it if you want.
Make anything.

That pretty smart! I wonder how busy they are with this idea?

Never heard of them, but the application could be huge if it's as easy as they make it sound.  Might have to play around and see what they'd quote on water jet cutting some shifter mounting plates or something...

If I can ever finish the design for my grille redesign I'm going to use wire EDM to turn out some parts. Too many projects, too little time.

Seems to be the wave of the future, staying tuned

Places like this are sprouting up everywhere these days - although one of this size might be a tad more unique...

Out in Pittsburgh, there's a place called TechShop - I believe it's a chain even, with shops in several, larger cities.  They're geared towards smaller stuff, but they do have a fairly large water-cutter that I've seen in action.  I don't know that they have an actual CNC machine, but they do have a bunch of 3D printers.  Problem with them is they want you to become a member, with a monthly membership fee, plus additional costs for materials and such.  The shop was pretty far from my place, and I knew I'd rarely get there, if ever.  Some of my buddies became members though, and built board-games, puzzles, cell phone cases, shirts, and various figurines (they were kinda nerds...)  :)
