1970 Standard 340 cast date 1969

What is a fair market value of a 340 block with a small crack in the middle of one cylinder. I know it is repairable. It's a long story... But would like to see your realistic opinions. Thank you.

If it was a numbers block it would be well worth the work to repair, but since anyone that is looking to buy it will not have a numbers matching block it's going to be a harder sell until it's repaired with a good clean bill of health.  Not sure what to ask since I'm not sure what it will cost to repair?

Just block with caps nothing else? Good ones with no cracks I've found for $500 sounds like yours will need a sleeve so minus the cost of that
