Looking at selling some 426 hemi iron cylinder heads, believe them to be off one of the early reproduction crate motors...supposedly very low miles (dyno time mainly) but have been sitting on shelf for years, no rust but would recommend having machine shop evaluate.....toying with idea of going aluminum to shed some weight.  Have no idea what to ask

So they are the later iron heads, A bit of a tough sell to be honest. You can buy new Edelbrocks assembled for around $1300 each or so with no issues and they make more power. Original iron heads are worth a bit to the date code folks but less than the Edelbrocks. You maybe should get them checked over by a good machine shop and if they won't cost much to whip into shape, use them. As they are I am guessing $1500 max for the pair but that is just a wild guess.
