I have been looking for a 70 F-383 HP for a long time and have had no luck. I have found bare blocks-non HP's or ones that have already been rebuilt and bored so many time there nothing left. 383 was the most common HP engine out there but are so had to fined. Plenty of 440's. Anyway if anybody knows of one in the Southeast of the US please let me know. Preferably a assembly date of early November 1969.
I know I am picky...
Thanks

383's were always the unappreciated workhorse. Great engines that performed well for their size and almost totally reliable. Unfortunately many were pulled and recycled and a New Yorker 440 was swung in to replace them. They are hard to find today as most of them have been melted down.
