Do you guys know anything about these salvage auto auctions? Are they real or a scam?
They have a good looking '70 Challenger with shaker hood and 4 speed .However,I can not see any damage and they don't list anything! It's way too cheap even for an auction!
What do you think,I should steer away from places like that or a bargain could be picked up!

they are not A scam, some insurance company has declared a vehicle to be A total loss. meaning cost of repair exceeds the value. well 80%. could have been in A flood, stolen, wrecked or vandalized. buy the VIN it started out as A 318 plane challenger. title is probably branded as salvage, and usually brings down the value.                   Mark.    :alan2cents:

Thanks,JS29!

That car still a good-looking  '70 Challenger with shaker hood and 4 speed.what I don't understand is what it's doing in a salvage yard auction. They don't list any damage just "usual wear" so why it's not on ebay or craigslist?

I don't know! I do know that if an insurance company takes possession of A vehicle it has to go to action. and salvage action's are ware they go.  It may be possible that it's A charity donation car, I have herd they are sometimes sold that way.   :alan2cents:

Same car also listed through Copart. That other listing is could be a secondary purchaser who will mark it up.
