Years ago I traveled to the upper Peninsula just down the road from Wisconsin to pick up a 1970 RT/SE 4 Speed numbers Challenger. I knew it was a little rusty, but upon getting home and detailed inspection, it had more holes in ALL the parts than swiss cheese. Guess where I am going is, I would be suspect of the bottom of these two to be similar. I was fortunate to sell it for what I paid for it.

Not sure if these are worth saving, but maybe at $20k, they would probably sell.

I would not care whatsoever about how rusty a project might be...I can fix rust. I CAN NOT FIX a missing broadcast sheet, a missing fender tag, a missing matching number drivetrain......That's where the real value is in any project.

   Well said.  Metal is just time and money.  Missing information like Build Sheets and Fender Tags are not fixable (without guessing).

Probably take some heat on this comment, but after how much AMD metal replacement are these cars considered imports?

No heat from me.     No doubt they'll take a lot of new metal, but I would rather see them on the road again with new metal then to sit and rot to nothing.

There will always be "original paneled" cars in our hobby and there will always be cars that required 90% of their sheet metal replaced and the value of each will always be reflected as such....

As the market grows with more and more people getting interested in Mopars everyday.... (ask yourself when was the last time you heard of a Chevy guy buying his "first" Mopar .....vs.....a Mopar guy excited about his new Chevy) There's not enough to go around.....

So with the introduction of all the "imported" AMD sheet metal less and less cars have to rot in a field.....they now stand a chance at a second life....I should know...I thrive on restoring cars that nobody else would bother touching.....
