What is nice 340 sixpack take off worth? It is an automatic, right carbs, still has the plugs in the secondary carbs, and has a very nice complete air cleaner.   Looks like they were never messed with.

                                     Thank You

The intake and carbs should get you $1500 easy and the air cleaner assembly could get you another $1500 easy. I see the air cleaner set ups on eBay from time to time and never under $2000.

The intake is no longer available , having the right carbs is a bonus also , you should be able to get more then $2000 without the Air cleaner

Agreed. One with a 4 speed carb would bring even more.

I sold my complete running 340 6 bbl with air cleaner, manifolds, dist, pulleys, pwr steering pump, everything for $3800 a couple years ago.

Sorry for diverging; why is the air cleaner assembly so expensive? are we talking date-coded, curious as I will need one eventually.

Production numbers for AAR/TA's were low. How many spare ones are still sitting on a shelf 50 Years later. They are getting pretty hard to find. Reproductions are available for a fraction of the cost if you're not picky.

It's only expensive if it's an original AAR Cuda or T/A Challenger 340-6 Air Cleaner. Which the OP made no mention of. :dunno:

Regular 6-pack air cleaners are not that expensive. :alan2cents:

The carb #,s are 4790,4792, and 4789 and yes it is an original air cleaner that did have a replacement seal to the hood replaced. It was taken off an AAR complete.
