Starting in '93 or '94, the Mopar Nationals started an annual limited edition 1:18 diecast car feature.  I bought one each year until they stopped doing a 1:18 car and started a 1:64 series (in 2000 IIRC).  The cars included a window sticker with a unique VIN number, and by buying each year I got the same number every year.
For a while the first year of the series FC7 cudas were selling for big bucks, and subsequent years were getting decent money too, but in recent years with the very detailed 1:18 diecasts that have come out, the older Ertls including these limited edition ones have dropped a lot in value.
I'm trying to cut down on my clutter so I can move out of this failing state in the hopefully not too distant future, and wondering if the set is still worth enough to worth the effort to sell.  Again, I have the 5, matching number, with original Mopar Nats marked shipping boxes stashed away someplace too.  Anybody seen a set sell recently that I can get a good estimate of WIW?
Edit-there is actually 6 1:18 cars in the series.  The final one is a triple black '69 GTX and I have that too.  So I'm looking for the value of a matching number set of 6.

I'd look on ebay to see what they are selling for? Like most things in life.... not as much as you would like?

I found some completed sales on eBay for individual Mopar Nats series 1:18 cars ranging from $49.99 to around $100.  I didn't see any sets though.  I've seen some sets on the market in the past but it's been awhile so I don't recall asking price or any selling prices for numbers matching sets.

I was gonna say $300 but I am shooting from the hip . . . certainly worth something!
Drive it like you stole it . . . And they're CHASING you!

I remember 15 or more years ago I'd see these first release ones at swap meets for $350!

I'm thinking I might be lucky to get that for my matching paperwork set of 6 now.  Might be more trouble than its worth to sell, they'll sit on my shelf gathering dust along with my 100+ other diecast and plastic models for the rest of my days most likely!

Yep, these were made by Campbells ? collectables back then. I have the same cars with all of the paperwork.

They were made by Campbells for some of the years, and then they pulled that from him.  He's semi-local to me and a member of the Mopar club here, and wasn't happy about the Nats dumping him.
He then came out with his own series for a while, and I bought a few of those.  Best he did was a 2 car set with a white T/A and black AAR, along with a cardboard dealership you could set up to display the cars.  I have that one too.  Though the last few he did, were nicely detailed Route 61 cars, I bought his sublime Swinger 340 which is really nice, that might have been 8 or 10 years ago?

Good people to deal with. He was pretty PO'd at Belinda and the nats issue.
