Even though tire size has become very limited for 15" rims, I still prefer the look of a 15" rallye rim with trim rings and center caps. I plan on using a standard rear end with 11" drums and disc brake setup up front . I was thinking of using 15 x 8 rims all around but not sure if this is the way to go. Car will be street driven.

-Is there any other mfg of Chrysler rallye rims/trim rings besides Wheel Vintiques?

-What would be a good street tire for this combination? Not going for the low profile look, something a little more classic, i.e. 275/60/15. I know Nitto makes a good street/drag radial but are there any other choices?

- Do the trim rings made for the 15 x 7 look and fit ok on the 15 x 8 reproduction rims?

The 17 x 9 are obviously a better choice for modern tires but cant bring myself to part with the classic rallyes.

The face should be the same on the 15x7 as the 15x8's so trim rings will fit (pretty sure).  I'm with you and like the classic look of 15" wheels, but there's not much selection left.  I'm just happy they make the reproduction Polyglass.

I definitely want a good street tire but dont need the polyglass originality, although its great you can get that.

Tire choices are real slim, looks like BFG's are about the only option for 15" rims.

That was the combo size I was considering as well. What are your thoughts on the brands you've listed?

I recommended the BFGs - as future availability for a replacement tire or pair would be easier

I'm not sure you can get 245/60/15s on the front of an e-body without clipping the front corner of the fender?  :dunno:
