I'm rebuilding the front end on my 73 challenger with disc brakes. In the parts kit is a long bent wire anti rattle clip and I am unsure where/how it goes on with the new pads as the clip was missing on both of my front calipers when I disassembled the front end.
Can anyone help me out with how this clip is installed?

It hooks on the two pins so that it holds the outside pad to the caliper. Make sure the pad is in between this clip and the caliper not the other way around

Is this only for pin type?
Do sliders use this clip?

Chryco Psycho

no sliders do not & cannot use that clip !

Is it really bad ju-ju if you don't have that clip or just a possible annoyance?

Not life and death if it's missing.
