Hello. What is correct valve stem extensions for a 70 Challenger with rally wheels and trim rings? I've seen a few listed but all were not the same. Want the correct ones. Thanks.

Headjam

Start with the correct valve stem (1st photo) then add the valve stem extensions shown in the 2nd photo.

Agree. They are called 1/2" extensions but they measure 3/4".

I have a few extra's if you want them, they're free and don't worry about shipping.  I can afford a couple of stamps.  My dad picked these up from Dodge Main Assembly when he worked there along time ago. See pics below. If you want them just PM me.

Take care, Snowdoggie

Regarding the 1/2" extensions, I've seen references to
  • plastic ball
  • steel ball
  • hollow plastic

How do the three aforementioned variations fit in the timeline and options of our cars?  For example, were the hollow plastic versions only available on assembly line cars in 1970?  Were they only available on B and E body wheels with trim rings? Are the plastic and steel ball versions correct only for 1971 cars or are they just later runs of NORS parts from Chrysler?

Thank you
M.

No problem,  my thoughtful wife just dropped them off at the Post Office counter inside.  I put them in small padded brown envelope, but larger than a regular envelope.  The USPS website was mentioning that if the envelope is not perfectly flat it would be "Non Machinable",  so we went this route.  Of course a ton of people say they ship everything in a regular envelope, so go figure.  Anyways, let me know when you get them.  All out of them for now.

Take care, Snowdoggie
