Aftermarket tie rod sleeve issue

Not to hijack the thread but I got a refund for that rear axle brake hose issue from a while ago. I did have to rattle a cage and get Inline to intervene with Motorcity though. Still out the shipping cost though.

I bought the tie rod solid tubes and ends as a kit. Not from Classic but from another reputable business (that was a while back though). I had to cut them. I had to trim off both the sleeve and also some of the tread from the tie rod to get them correct length.

Good to know as I was thinking I was the only one with the issue and maybe have something still bent out of whack like the shock tower as I know the car had front end accident damage in the past.
