Re read the second post, updated. 6 point deep, thin wall socket, seat firmly with a hammer and use a long handle ratchet/breaker bar. Will come right off.

:iagree:I agree with this, I think you guys are way over thinking this....like I said, I have a spark plug socket that fits inside the center caps no problem

Aren't spark plugs 13/16" and lug nuts 3/4"?

Those lug nuts look to be 13/16" hence the clearance issue

Yep, that's the issue.  13/16. 

Didn't get to it tonight, worked late again.  Had to load one of my 67 barracuda's in the trailer instead.
