I have a guy that will sell me a set of 4 with I believe new tires for 1K. 
This would be fore my 74 charger.

Is that a worthy deal?   

I don't know if they are repro or old or peeling or what?   I'm assuming they must be nice if he wants 1K.

I think I saw them on summit for 200 each.  So, 800 bucks plus the tires which can't be less than 150 each. 
So, 1400 new.   Your saying at used prices should not be more than 50 percent on these, of which I agree.

In 1974 I paid around $600 for 4 with tires.
