Hello guys,

Thus I'm basically building a brand new car, I will change the whole front end too. I went for a QA1 K Frame, QA1 Control arms, etc. So everything from QA1 down there, except the shock absorbers which are a bit overpriced in my opinion.

Questions are:

1. What spindles to use, considering I'm going for disc brakes (didn't decide yet which ones but probably something from Wilwood);
2. What power steering box to use;
3. What power brake booster to use and is there a complete kit for front disk, rear drum power brakes?
4. What else do I need to complete the front end? :)

The car is a 1970 Challenger SE with a 318 and A904

DR Diff, for the breaks, Firm feel for the steering box.  :alan2cents:

What did the supplier of the QA1 components recommend ?

Tell us more on what you are trying to build and usage of the car. Is this a pro touring build or just cruise machine? Like going fast around corners up and down the mountains?

1.   Dr. Diff spindles and BBK kit, as large a diameter rotor as your desired wheel size will allow.
2.   Borgeson PS kit, or FF stage 3 for a stock type box.
3.   Hydroboost, either a junkyard pull or purchased kit.
4.   Viking or QA1 double adjustable shocks.   Shocks is not an area to scrimp few hundred bucks on.

Not cheap like a non-adjustable, but a pretty good shock for the price IMO. I have the QA1 single adjustable.

I've got the QA1 singe adjustable and were well worth the money.

I would suggest that when upgrading your suspension that perhaps the most important part would be the shocks....not sure you want the "price" to be the deciding factor :alan2cents:

Is probably just gonna be a Sunday car to enjoy every now and then. Not looking to race it or fly with it. The plan was a stock restoration but I went with the QA1 because I was changing everything in front (including the K member which was not usable anymore) and figured that a bit of a better handling wouldn't hurt :)

I'm currently looking for a steering box and I really don't know which one I need for a power steering application on a 318 auto
