Are the tube seats on a cast iron master cylinder interchangeable with an aluminum master cylinder? Is it possible to install an internal residual pressure valve from a cast iron master into an aluminum master? I have a RPV from my drum master and was wondering if it would fit in the aluminum master now on the car.

Doubtful... The brass seat may fit but the pocket for the residual pressure valve probably isn't there... It would be extra machining steps for no reason.... Manufacturers don't  do extra steps for no reason....

Just add an in line valve..

I suspected that might be the case. I don't have that intricate knowledge base like you guys. Thanks
