I pulled the engine, suspension, k frame, etc. about a month ago, for general cleanup. Everything was functioning well. Today, when I bolted the steering box in, I swiveled the pitman arm. The action is not smooth. It has a minor "ratcheting" feel to it. Is this normal, or a sign of a problem/

They rebuilt this box, 25 years (10k miles), ago. I'm taking it back to them, today, and have them take a looksee at it. I hope it's still under warranty. :haha:

Well, I took it to them and they say that it is AOK. I hope so, because and R and R, with the engine in place, sucks!
