Question for those converting front manual drums to discs

When doing your conversion, did you change the front brake lines, or did you use the existing lines from the drums?  I would assume you have to switch the lines but want to double check.
We're just talking the steel lines here, not the flex hoses or the valve setups.

I used hoses from an A body on to 2.75" calipers. I also installed new front factory steel line for disc brakes from Fine Line.

I also used new hard lines from Fine Lines - back in the '90s. 
The distribution block/proportioning valve plus the front metering valve (if you are using one) make for different lines.

Don't buy s/s lines, buy the factory type and use braided flex lines. s/s lines are very hard and sometimes are  a problem to get sealed.

Different flex lines used on the calipers so always use new .
