Looks like Nov 16th 1970.  A 1971 model year wheel.  Should have part number 2944390 on them somewhere, right?

The way I see them...

M = Motor Wheel
1 = 1st Plant
0 = 1970

11 = Nov
16th = 16th day.

I am away from where my car is, but I have the same wheels. To this day, I have not been able to see/find 390 anywhere on them, short of breaking them down. Not sure where I read/seen/heard, but some of the early wheels did not get numbers, and the car in question has an SPD of 802 of 1969.  :dunno:

I have 8/12/69 wheels without part numbers & 8/29/69 with

Correct, no stamped 7 digit numbers on the early 390 rims or the early 450 rims.  I have a set of 7/29/69 rims and they have the 390 label still present on the inside.   :alan2cents:
