Brake trivia question

1970 Challenger that started life as a 318/3 speed manual with drum brakes all around.  On the front brakes; the driver side has a hub with a separate drum but the passenger side has a one piece hub/drum combination.  I am guessing previous owner made a change.  Which side is correct??  If the car actually came like this from factory, where could I find the one piece unit for the passenger side??

Some one replaced the drivers side and did not install it to factory specs.
All front drums from 1972 back were a hub/drum assembly.
A special wheel stud was used to literally rivet the drum to the hub.
When the drum is replaced and just slid over the hub, numerous times you will have vibrations, clunking sounds and other problems. Sometimes you get lucky and nothing happens. It is not a safety item. But to answer your question the one piece assembly was factory spec.
To duplicate the same setup you will need the factory type studs (too bad it wasn't the other side. It would be the perfect time to put r/h studs ) A good machine shop will know the procedure to swedge "crimp" the studs and have the correct tool.
Look it up in your Factory Service Manual.
