Question on tires for my '68 Charger, yes this might be the first non-e body post here.   :P

I have 28x10x15's on the front and 30x12x15 in the back and was thinking about going a little smaller all the way around.  Right now for the 30x12 I have to run a spacer and even then they are rubbing on the inner well, especially on turns. The fronts have a couple of bubbles on the sidewalls so M/T said no problem, order new ones and send these back for a refund.

So questions:
- Would a 26x8 be better than a 26x10 in the front?  I've heard that wider tires tend to track with grooves in the road.
- With 26s in the front, I'm planned to go with 28x12 or 28x10 or 26.6x11.6 (295x50). Would the 28x12's also rub, or is the whole aspect ratio changed since its a 2" shorter tire?
- I have +1" springs but also sensa-trac shocks with coil overs that I want switch out with Bilsteins.  Should the car lower a bit with out the coil shocks?  I want to keep the wheel well full of tire and like the wide track look too.  So my concern with the 295x50 is they would be too short (30 down to 26.6).

Open to another suggestions too.

Thanks!

28x12 will have less sidewall height & bulge than the 30x12 so it should be enough , I would use the wider 26x10 on the front
my 2 cents
