Anyone here running the US Cartool Spring relocation kit or have their springs moved inboard to the frame rails? The kit moves the springs inboard 3" per side, looking to stuff a pretty large slick in the stock wheel well without jacking the rear up using re-arched leafs.

If you have this type of setup, post what tire size you fit in the stock well. I'm open to rolling the fender lip / trimming the inside edge if needed.

I'm using the Dr Diff 1.5" relocation kit. I have 315's installed. I can't see a 3" relocation kit working? Without doing wheel well work you are unlikely to fit a much bigger tire. A 335 might fit with my set-up if you roll the lips a bit and keep it pretty close to the inside edge of the wheel well? The springs moved in even further wouldn't make that much of a difference I'm thinking? It's the available well space.

Dr Diff only sells the 1" kit now. Was thinking 1" wouldn't be enough to get what I want? My inspiration is the phot below, from moparts forum I believe. I'd like to run a 295/65/15 on a 15x10 with my hotchkis springs (lowered 1" from stock). Basically have a street/strip car by changing out wheel/tires setup and not messing with suspension.

Pretty sure the 1" offset will let you fit 295's with proper backspacing.

I have a 1" relocation with zero arch springs and 26x12x15 MTs on 15x10 wheels. That is equivalent to a 305/45x15. They fit just fine, but they are only 26" tall. Those 295/65 are 30" tall. That's a lot of freaking tire. I put those under my Challenger once. Looked like a 70s street freak throwback machine.

XV got a 335 in a stock Challenger wheel well with a 1" relocation.  3" kit will put the spring further in than the inner well. Great if your tubbing, not necessary if you aren't.

325/50-15 tires on 15x10 rims installed on the wife's Challenger with Dr. Diff's 1" offset kit and 1967 B body rear end.
Plenty of room, no rubbing anywhere.

Didn't want the wife driving on drag radials in case she got caught in the rain so I switched them out, would love to find the same size radial tire in full street tread.....

Thanks, I'm not looking for a 50 series tire. Really want to stick with atleast a 60, preferably a 65. I've read a ton of threads on here and really looking for someone who has done this and can share some advice.

There is a sticky or whatever in the wheel and tire section hopefully with some more answers for you.  I'm going to refresh my memory on this topic now too.

As stated you don't need the 3" kit unless you are going to tub the car. Way more work than necessary. The inside of the wheel well is the limiting factor if you move the springs with the 1" kit. Also moving the springs in that much will interfere with the rear valance, and if you run tailpipes, the springs moved in that far will mess with that also. I have 295/45/18 in the stock wheel wells with a 1" relocation kit. These tires are 28.5" tall and 11.5" wide. I have xhd springs. The issue you will have with a tall tire and flat springs will be rubbing up in the wheel well where the 1/4 panel curves in. It will depend on how much weight you carry in the rear. Passengers, batteries, fuel, etc

295/65x15 BFG G force radial installed on Cragar Dragstar, 15x8, 4.5" backspace with stock location leafs using the OEM 318 style, four leaf full plus one half leaf  (ie nearly flat) spring pack.

HP2

Space to the rear leaf segment in stock location using 8" wide wheel.

HP2

Space to the fender lip.

Rake that isn't bad for a drag car.  Not my preference on a street car.  These are so big, I never did anything but drive around the block and pull them back off. Can't comment on what living with these on the street would be like.

These were the dedicated race tires on my drag car.

Here's a comparison; my Bro's '69 Charger. Top pic is 275/60x15 on a 10" wide wheel. Second pic is the aforemention 295/65x15 G Force tires.

What is your wheel offset/backspacing, if you don't mind?  Do you think a 335 would fit?  That would be 1/2" wider.  There is a little better tire selection at 335 in 18 and 19 inch.
I really need to start cleaning up the '66 b body rear that is waiting in the attic.
