My friend does towing for the local police departments and always has alot of junk car that eventualy go to the crusher. After seeing this thread i decided to go down and look.  the first one i found was from a mercury marquies but it was steel, but correct bolt pattern.  Then as i was looking over the other cars there was a lincoln mercury town car. so i poped the truck and WAH LA. there it was.  The Tire is a 145/80 R16  So the tire height comes up to 25.14"  My friend told me it can be no more then 5% differance. so i  have 26" tires and at 5% thats 1.3 inches. The differance of the one i found is .86 Inches.  he said it would be fine to use.  Now i am on the hunt for a jack.

I have a spare tire from a late-model Chrysler 300.

It takes up a ton of space, but it's a 17" rim and right in between the height of my front and rear tires.

That's the wrong bolt pattern.     5x115 is close, but not proper for the 5x4.5/5x114.3

Looks like the exact same as mine?

Old thread I know, but I picked up exact same rim on CL for $30
It's super light and overall height is perfect match.
