there is little info on the cars because they were introduced as a "spring specials" in March '70 with a lower base price

1970
Challenger
MSRP 198 cu.in. /6 A93 $2,724.00 VS. 225 cu.in /6 $2,851.00 ($127 difference)
MSRP 318 cu.in. V8 A93 $2,850.00 VS. 318 cu.in V8 $2,953.00 ($103 difference)
Barracuda
MSRP 198 cu.in. /6 A93 ~$2644.00 VS. 225 cu.in /6 $,2764.00 (~$120 difference)
MSRP 318 cu.in. V8 A93 $2,7?? VS. 318 cu.in V8 $2,865.00 ($?? difference)

I should have pics of the seats - I'll keep looking
And each one of these engines would have a manual 3 speed behind them...

yes, a 3-speed manual transmission was STANDARD in the base price on ALL '70 Plymouth E-bodies

not quite the same car:
(base Barracuda coupe w/383 4bbl & automatic VS. base 'cuda with 383HP & automatic)
BH23 V8 w/A93
2,760.00 (best guess)
+ 137.55 * 383 4bbl
+ 227.05 * torqueflite
$3,124.60

BS23
3,146.00
+ 227.05 * torqueflite
$3,373.05

that ~$250 more for the 'cuda got you:
an advertised 5 more horse-power
up-graded interior
up-graded brakes
roll down 1/4 windows
two horns, day/night rearview mirror, lighter
wood-grain steering wheel
sport hood & hood pins
fog lights
6" wide wheels w/F70-14 RWL Polyglas tires
all the mouldings (M25, M26, M31, M88)
chrome exhaust tips
&
higher insurance premiums  :Thud:

but it is also the reason for the OP's car being so RARE :drinkingbud:

I've seen both style plugs, never seen the plastic plugs on an early car but this car is late enough that it could probably go either way..... All the 71 A93's I've seen/owned had plastic plugs

my 71 a93 production date of 909 has chrome plugs.

Nice ride Mikey!  The original color is really cool and it has some cool options!

I'm looking forward to seeing the progress on this one.
I know the owner is paying attention to all the details, so it should turn out really nice.
It's always special to see an A93 car.
