A slightly tweaked version of FJ6 Sassy Grass or Green Go ... a little more "pop" was added

I love Bahama yellow/ Butterscotch.

I was searching for an A body and almost bought a Butterscotch Dodge Demon. The Demon lacked the originality I was hoping for and I passed for my FC7 Duster.

Car looks great Alan. I like the whole restomod thing I think the industry is doing a lot better at making modern modifications look period correct. Resto-mods from the 90's were not my thing.

Someday I will have a J0b.

DAY ONE:
Had the car delivered today around lunch, made quick work of getting it off the cart, masked up and all the black-out done...the black-out on the A pillars is unique to convertibles only  :P

Tomorrow's another day... :drinkingbud:

Was the bottom of the radiator support also blacked out?

anlauto

It is now :haha: :haha: I've seen most with, some without, but this thing is far from "OE" :stayinlane:

@anlauto I see the backs of your A Pillars are blacked out but not the front around the windshield?  I looked at the blackout engineering drawing from the Resources tab but had a hard time figuring out what was and was not blacked out around the windshield.  Do just the A Pillar backs only blackout apply to Challengers. too??
Yeah, my car's far from original, too!  Thanks.

I've only seen the A pillar black-out on convertibles....the front side does not matter because it's all covered. It's the small area between the wide A pillar stainless (found only on convertibles) and the side glass weather-strip channel that gets blacked-out....If it remained green in there, it stands out like a sore thumb.

The hardtops have dip rail moldings that almost hang over the weather-strip channel, so that area is not visible.

Mr Cuda

Congratulations,  looks good.
Now, slow your roll., You're making the rest of us look bad. I haven't even touched a car project this week, and the weeks over!
