plane Cuda

employed in commercial aircraft salvage and recovery
where else to store the Cuda than in a 727 section,
Last week I decided to get the Cuda back on the Road after 20 years.

It's now in the DC-10 shop
getting prepped for a spin on the rotisserie.

"B" body rear will be installed

first combo will be the eng/trans out of my  "More door"
449 (small block)
while under the knife will mod the trans tunnel for A-500

will be jumping around on the project. between stripping the paint and making spring mounts for the rear end.
started cleaning the wheel tub, while thinking about the front spring mount, i know I can buy the off-set items, what fun is that... rather make my own

only got 2 hours in today,
got all the bolts loose on the front end / k- member
ready to drop.

got to make mounts for the rotisserie > for the cuda ( first time on)
have used it before for 2 darts and the crew cab
had about an hour left so to SEE progress...
pulled the trigger on the needle scaler

I have slowed down some..
You will notice a chair in most pic..
can't stand on my feet like I use to.
raise the lift to the height I want, same with the Rotisserie>>> Pull up a chair...

I try to do at least one item a day, it is the only way to get it finished.

Removed all the front suspension today, modded the arms to hold the Cuda on the rotisserie.

some one will be happy one day
rotesserrie is for Darts or Cuda.

My friend  Tom,
today I was telling him, I'm looking at a smaller plane to partial bury in a hill,, tail first.
use as a storm shelter.
got the idea from loading this one today, before the storms started.
LOL.. he said I'm plane crazy....

my old hat, a turbo jet valve...lol
and the trim rings for the new tail lights.

time to get to work, remove all the other items, under the car

Sticking a screwdriver in and opening the trunk used to be the highlight of buying a "new" Mopar for me.
