Hi all my name is Fabion and this is my 74 cuda I just got this spring. It's my first time restoring a mopar and i have restored 67 mustang coupe which was my first car.  The body isn't in that bad of a shape since I got the car from Oklahoma. I'm in the process of replacing the trunk floor,passenger side quarter,passenger wheel well and drop off panels. I'm also putting on the 71 cuda front end learned the hard way it's a expensive swap.

I also have the 74 cuda grill for sale or trade for 71 front end party's like headlight bucket or trim etc. Everything seem to fit nicely accept the rear part of the outer well wheel I'll have to massage it anit. I'm just testing fitting the panels

Looks like you got a good start on the metal work.   :twothumbsup:  Nice job. 

When you get that new door, put 52 pounds of dead weight in it (if it's just a shell) and do your body work with the doors hung so you can see how they line up with the quarters.  It makes it a little easier to get really good body lines if the doors have their guts in them or have the same amount of weight so they sag about the same as they will when you install them for the final time.   :alan2cents:

Thanks for the tip. I'll put the door back  on when I start to weld it up.

Hi every body need some help identifying a part. It seems like some type of brace but idk where it goes it came with the car. I highlighted it red plus what year is cuda radiator is this for.

Radiator looks (by the number) to be a 1971.   The other part looks to be a filler panel for a bumper?   :notsure:

Just looked up the Radiator and it's a 1971 Dart and Valiant Slant 6 225 w/ AC 22" radiator Stamped part 3443 985 / Parts book number 3443 988

Did some more sanding and media blasting. Hopefully it doesn't rain tomorrow so I can weld in the trunk floor.

Every little bit gets you a little closer.   :)  Try not to let that open metal sit to long.  Maybe some epoxy on those areas would be a good idea?  :wrenching:

Any good quality 2 part automotive epoxy will work.  If you do not have a paint gun and air to spray it, they do make it in a rattle can called 2K.

I got a compressor and a paint gun. I'll try my local auto part store for some primer

Well I found out what color I would like to paint the cuda. It's between dodge Jazz blue and the car that got me into cudas.
