I'm tearing down the hemi along with labeling the harness which I recommend doing to help you understand what and where the sensor's go. I also had 2 exhaust manifold bolts that broke off in the cylinder head.I got 1 out and 1 is still  stuck in the cylinder head. My extractor drill bit broke off into the bolt I was trying to get out smh. I'm going to label the harness better

I got a question has anybody put a 5.7 hemi with qa1 member. I was just wondering if u have to change to oil pan and could u use some headers like this https://m.ebay.com/itm/For-Chrysler-300C-Dodge-Charger-Magnum-Challenger-5-7-6-1L-Stainless-Long-Header-/272608035491 1000 dollars for some headers is ridiculous.

Looks like a good turn out for the show.   

I know you're on a budget, but I think a new roof skin would have been the way to go.  It's a hard piece to weld in that area and it's super easy to see mistake when the sun hits it and makes it hot.  The metal moves when it's warm and will ghost some of the metal work.     But I understand you're on a budget so I might have done the same thing in your position.

But if you went with a vinyl top, that'll hide any band aiding effect in the heat.

I Appreciate the advice on the roof repair. My goal is to have this running,driving and painted no later than next year. I might replace the roof but it wont be anytime soon depends on how well my repair goes. High quality headers are always worth the investment. I'm not sure I'd put $100 ebay headers on my riding mower. Thin flanges, poor coating, poorly fixtured, etc. 

I've bought many sets of headers and have never been more impressed than with my TTIs, but it took me a few sets to understand what poor quality headers are like.

If you're budget-concious, I'd start to question why you need a ~$700 QA1 crossmember...

I got the qa1 k-member due it saying you could run different types of headers and more room for the oil pan since I knew I was going to be doing a gen 3 hemi swap. Plus I would be mad to pay 700 for a k member and the qa1 k-member are 560 with free shipping. I only dish out 200 plus for it since I sold my old k member. There's a lot of deals and sales out there if u keep looking . I just want to find the most average Joe way of doing this swap since I know a lot of people want to do it  but dont want to dash out that much cash like me. So if I got to fab stuff up to make it work I will. Its like doing the coyote swap on vintage stang without cutting out the shock towers completely out.

Today I went to the junkyard to get my gas pedal and fuse box which I got out of a 2007 dodge ram 2500 for 90 bucks. Since the wiring is not so good in my car I'm going to modify the fuse box i got out of the ram to run everything in the cuda plus rewire the car. My wiring skills are ok but if anybody wants to go down this path I will label every wire/relay needed for the hemi swap with a lot of pics.

One thing I like about wiring my own car is i know what every wire does and go to like in my mustang. Anybody a good wiring diagram for the cuda? . Im going to make my own bracket for the gas pedal

Doing something similar with mine. I jy shopped and am using a trunk mounted power block from a Lincoln. In my trunk also. All new will be thru this. More and more original will just end up in used. Also found a firewall rubber plug from a Dodge van that almost perfectly snaps into the old heater motor hole. All my added FI wiring will pass thru it.
