Mine has been sitting forever and looks like heck.   Got a factory air cleaner and correct  date code and casting intake.    I would like to send carb off  not in a big hurry,

I'd be glad to help you. Here is one I recently finished for Graveyard Carz, same carb before & after. A four-barrel restoration is $399.00 plus shipping.

dodj,  I'm guessing that you were kidding on the 6?  ;) Just in case you weren't........ Ink stamping locations were random, no two carbs were stamped exactly the same. I duplicate original examples I have found over the years when adding them back. If anything I'm guilty of making them too nice :help: as most were partial or smeared to the point of being illegible.

Yes Scott it was in jest. You obviously do an awesome job on restoring carbs. Just my weird sense of humour. I should have tossed a smiley in there.

The "6" is straight, the whole carb is crooked.... :alan2cents:

About as straight as the jack instructions were placed on the under side of the trunk lid.  :alan2cents:

Be careful. Don't get caught drinking the Kool-Aid or believing the hype.

Really great carb work. Oh, and it's really an upside down 9.

...I believe it's a crooked upside down 9.  :pokeeye:
