Sorry to be the bearer of bad news... What you have is a Charger gas cap... Completely useless for your Challenger....

 :iagree: ..... unless it's a custom

I didn't think it was the right one, that's why the question. I just purchased this challenger and the cap was in the trunk.

I can see how you made that mistake though.  :console: They look similar. Nice design in that you can't forget and leave the gas cap somewhere.  :D

Its the opposite. '68 was just plain, '69 said Fuel.

68 was probably the same cap as 67 GTX & A body Barracudas......

Yep - '67 and 68 Barracuda A body and the '67 GTX.  The '69 flip top was used on the '69 Barracuda A body as well as the Charger for '69 and '70.

So, being as you have a 68... That you once upon a time came to the board asking if it was worth the asking price I might add..... Can you say "bargain"??    What kind of shape is your fuel cap in?

Thanks, you should have no problem selling if you wanted to.  Or hold on to it until you get the rest of the Charger!

I've owned a few 68-70 Charger R/T's....  Back when they were cheap... Don't see another in my future....  I'll get by with my Coronet R/T vert.... It was cheap too... Like me...

Heck my buddy picked this one back around 04 for 7K......   Numbers matching R/T SE..... Not likely to see a deal like that again...

Prices are crazy for them now, and if I was smart I'd sell it. But I'd just probably go buy another....
