This is one of those little annoyance type things, but, my car has about five or six different styles of nut holding my tail light assembly on the car, does anyone have a picture of what the appropriate nut looks like for putting this back together?

I could have just gone to a hardware store, but that would have been too easy. 🤣😂

Thanks.

I have one or two of the option a style and one or two of the option b style and then there's just a bunch of random size nuts with washers

On mine there is one A nut and the rest are C nut options . It seams that the nuts are original to the tail lights on my 1970 Cuda.

Hoover Auto parts sell the correct ones.

Quick question on 1970 Challenger taillight nuts:

After cleaning up the originals, they look like they were black phosphate, not Yellow Zinc. Maybe the Yellow Dichromate wore off over the years ?

Were the Challenger also Yellow Zinc in 1970? or Black?

Thanks

The 1970 Challenger nuts should be silver phosphate, not yellow zinc or black.  :alan2cents:
