AAR hood pin

I think this pin is an original but wanted to confirm it. It was on the rear window louvers but others were missing.

   It took me about 10 seconds to even see a pin in that photo.      Sorry I don't know much about rear louvers.  But thanks for sharing the photo!

Original T/A AAR hood pins are flat where the lanyard attaches.  There's a good picture in the article about Frank Badelsons unrestored T/A in the late great Mopar Action from several years ago.
One of mine is original I learned from that article, I'll see if I can get a good picture of it.
I have an original set of louvers stashed, I have been meaning to compare one of its pins to an original to see if I can then have 2 correct ones on my car.

Well it seems that I have one that's right. It look just like your hood hinge. I haven't begin to look for any of these yet so I better get on it.
