Anyone ever do a headstone rubbing...

and thought, how could I apply that to automotive restoration?

Here's your chance...

I need a "rubbing" of  this area.... with a ruler shown next to it for scale. My vert is rusted and I'll need to hammer form something or find someone to sell me those, both right an left.

The chances of someone having good, usable ones that they'd part with, ranges from unlikely to impossible and it looks to be a pretty simple piece, so why not just measure the remains and bend yourself a new one? Being a brace, I'd make it out of 16 gauge steel; so if you don't have a good BFH, now's the time, eh? Good luck with it!  :cheers:
