BAM

Hello guys,

My car is going out to the paint shop this week and I wish to find the modern equivalent of the B5 & B7 color codes. I don't know what brand of paint will be used but I can ask. I only know that it will be a bit more eco friendly water based paint.

Thank you in advance

B5 changes a bit depending on year, get the code you want and most paint stores can cross reference it to thier formula. The mix should be close but as paint types have changed and depending on brand mixing tints may be different it will be exact. The other option if you have one is to have an original paint sample scanned which will get you the closest formula and then tint to match.  Tints can be quite different. My B5 1971 Vert is sitting in my shop right next to my 1974 B5 Charger and there's a big difference. I put my B5 equivalent 2015 Challenger next to them and it's a different tint but closest to the 1974. I'll include a couple of photos.

EB5 1970
GB5 1971-1973
KB5 1974
