Correct height of bumper

Have fitted my bumper but unsure of its correct height in relation to the grill.

1st photo is upside down, there is a gap under the ruler in the first photo.

Is there a correct position or is it ok as long as both sides are the same.

I like when you bend down and look at it straight-on, that the top of the bumper sits just below the stainless of the grill. You don't want to hide the stainless trim behind the bumper. If your bumper is "high" in the middle, you might want to drop the whole thing down slightly, measuring each end to make sure they're equal. As for fore and aft, I like to bring the bumper as close to the fender as possible, with maybe a finger tip gap (1/2"), so there's no gap between the bumper and the grill.

Unfortunately, the bumper brackets have pretty limited adjustment capabilities, making it hard to get it exactly where you would like it.

IMO - As already mentioned . . . best look is to have the center of the front bumper sitting just below the lower trim of the grill, pulled as close to the body as can be . . . around a 1/2" gap all around.  Factory mounting brackets do not have much adjustment so opening up the adjustment holes on the brackets before installing them will aid in placing the bumper where it should be in relation to the body to achieve the best look.

Bumper is tight on middle of grill (fore and aft) so will adjust holes to reveal SS trim.
