I have an extra set of tail light housings that I bought awhile back with intentions of modifying them hold a custom set of tail lights. Thought was, I could have a modified tail that I could easily reverse.

I've seen round lights, straightened out the angle of the stock rectangular lights, neither of which I've liked. The newer lights look good but I don't want the modern look. Any ideas or pictures? I love the 68 Coronet tails and they are right around the same dimensions but may look odd.

Years ago I planned to use the outer lenses in all 4 places & run 4 red Brake & turn like the 70 , I forget what I planned for the reverse light at that time

I tried that. The red lenses don't fit where the reverse light lens fits. Looked like they should though.
I think I may figure out a way to tint/colour the clear reverse lens.

I'm toying around with a change on these myself.

Currently thinking of changing angle on inner lights to match outer lights, then moving reverse lights to center of the panel and adding an additional outside light for six total across the back.

Might have to try a photoshop of it before cutting any material. I would hate to do all that work only to finish and go, "meh."
