Front edge of roof on sail panel

Can someone give me some insight on how the roof skin is finished off where it meets the quarter panel at the front edge of the sail panel.  It seems like I should weld that bottom edge to the quarter panel before filling the joint.  Maybe a picture of this area on a correctly done car would be helpful.

Put your trim on and you'll see most of it is hidden. You'll probably have to trim it and fold it in and tack it . This is what I did. This car is getting a vinyl roof also .
