Hey guys before I fabricate a piece I figured I would ask. Does anyone have an old thrashed 71 grille where they could cut off the piece in the picture so I could graft it onto my grille. Much appreciated.  Thanks

A piece?  That looks like the entire end of the grill.

There was a guy over on febo that had some grill parts.  I'll look and see if he has any 71's.

Looked over there and the one that was there was sold.
I tried.

I looked and looked and could not come up with the ad.
I'll keep it in mind though.  I know it's out there.

As I recall there were multiple years and types.  All bunched together in a pile.
Someone who did grill repairs and no longer does it.  Might have even been one of the bigger names.

@Daveh. It was Mike Ross at BE/A over on Moparts. He sold the whole stash of grilles including parts of Challenger grilles. You might contact him to see who he sold them to. This was his ad.

Anyone repairing plastic grilles? I have a mountain of parts when I was restoring grilles, I have way to much going on here at the shop for that type of work any longer. Lots of Charger grilles, 71 Cuda and Challenger. I just have a pile that I don't want to throw away but has to go.

@Daveh  Can you show a little more clearly what part of the grille that you need?  As someone mentioned earlier, it looks like the entire end is missing.  I was the person that purchased Mike Ross' plastic pieces, and there were two partial 71 Challenger grilles...but both missing their ends.  Can you find a pic of a complete grille and circle the specific area that you need?  Meanwhile I will take pics of the four ends of the two grilles that I have and see if there is enough there to meet your needs.

Daveh

Here you go, the first 2 pics are what I need to graft in.  It is the left side of the grille.  It's a small piece, it's not the entire grille.  The last pic is of the right side of the grill which is the good side with no issues.  As I said it's a very small piece.  Let me know what you think.

TWS

@Daveh  Here ya go...  First grille nothing left.  Second grille just the one side is intact in that area.  Let me know!

Daveh

That's awesome.  TWS I sent you a PM with my details.  Here's the picture of what I need it's not much.  Very stoked.

TWS

@Daveh  I don't see the PM.  It's possible I am limited due to being a low poster / newbie.  Please email me your name and address to TWSchuler@aol.com.

That's all I need.  No charge.  Just give me a day or two to cut the piece and get thru the P.O. line.  Merry Christmas!   :bigthumb:

It's always great to see something like this work out.

Thanks TWS I've just sent the address.  I appreciate the generosity you will find a lot of that here.  It seems we all look out for each other.  That being said let me pay you something?  At least for the ride?
