Hood and trunk latch finish

Terminology I know... when you say hood catch do you mean this thing or the center support it "catches"?

I know the front hood catch on the hood is body colour but I'm thinking the back where silver cad; Anlan suggested silver cad for the trunk latch but I wasn't sure if he meant both latches or just the one attached to the car, not the one on the trunk lid.

For clarity; the picture I posted is of the trunk latch "catch"; that is the only item I am curious about whether it was body colour, or some other finish.

I saw a photo here today of what appeared to be a stock deck lid and that little stirrup was all body color.  It was on a thread that showed body bolt whole locations for accessories and hardware.

The piece in question is painted body color.  It was installed before paint.  After the body was painted, the trunk latch was adjusted.  You should see a paint line next to the "catch" where it was moved after it was painted.

The hood "catch" is also painted body color.
