Cleaning up the K member and ran into a few markings. My '71 Barracuda was a late June build with "S13" Suspension H.D.  with Sway Bar.  There's no skid plate and no "coin".  I did find these two markings.  Correct K member for a small block V8 in '71?

Skdmark

My May of 71 Challenger R/T does not have a coin or skid plate either. S13 big block.
Coins seem to be hit or miss. My 71 Barracuda with a 318 has one.

The date code is typically found front center face of K frame.
4 digits long for example:
0770 = 77th day of 1970

If I'm reading the "221" right, that makes into June which would make it just before the VON of 6/28.  The "04..."  is throwing me off.  Not sure what that means. Comparing with other K members, looks like it is for a 318, 340, or 383 which is correct for the Barracuda.

Both of my cars have "52" on the broadcast sheet under FRAME.
One is regular suspension / no sway bar 318 (with coin) early build and the other is HD suspension with sway bar and a 383 (no coin) late build.
I suspect yours is the same model K frame.

Besides part numbers and date codes, those numbers could be related to a vendor number or stamping ID number used prior to welding.
Sorry can't be more help.
