New Charger Taillights - How Do They Do It?

Here's an LED set up that's a little more trick.
It's a flat plate of evenly spaced LEDs, that's shaped like the tail lights.
The factory tail light lenses have those reflectors recessed into the middle though, so there wasn't room for lights behind that part of the lens.

I don't think this is anything super trick, it's just some very bright LEDs in the stock housings.
Not my car, so I'm not sure if they're white LED or red LED, but I'm guessing they're white, and maybe red would retain more color when lit.
I had the ones used in that picture, they caused me nothing but problems and eventually burnt out.
I have these ones now in mine.(3-4 years no with no issues) MUCH brighter/safer than stock.  Sequential also. FYI They have kits available for every year of Cuda and Challenger.

This LED set up uses a higher number of smaller sized LEDs for a more even glow.
It also uses custom made tail light lenses to get rid of that reflector in the middle.

I'd like to know what these lenses look like in the daylight.
