battery tray mounting

I had to fabricate a replacement section of the LH inner fender where the battery tray mounts.  The new battery tray has a hole that protrudes downward on the underside.  I assume that I need to make a hole in my new panel that is large enough for this to pass thru so that the battery tray sits flat.

Nice patch work    and yes I think that is some sort of a drain idea...take a look of replacement aprons and you'll get an idea of the holes you need
