Im in the process of replacing the floor pans and decided to go ahead and widen the fender wells. my question is what can i use to make the splice more presentable from the underside? i am by no means skilled enough to weld 2 seams that close together and make it look factory
thanks for the help

U.S Car tool has a kit that make the process simpler but it still involves cutting and welding but they give you templates.

In order of what I'd see as the answers to your question- 1- learn to weld better, 2- buy a 4" grinder and some appropriate discs and clean up the welds as best possible, 3- use a short hair fibreglass filler to cover/blend what you have and finally 4- use a spray-on undercoat and/or box liner to fill and cover as best as they can. Good luck
