I have borrowed a pic here for reference... these brackets have been lost off my car. Question are they really required or will the Qtr Window stop fine once it hits the top rubber?

Much appreciated

You'll be fine without them, the roof will stop the glass :alan2cents:

The glass will stop at the weather strip but without stops will lean forward and can over lap with the front window causing potential chips on the edge. I have a barracuda coupe that I added window crank hardware to but does not have any stops. I have to roll up the quarter windows and push them towards the rear to keep proper alignment with the front glass.

Thanks for that post. I thought I was the only one that has to "push" the 1/4 window (right side only). I'll check for that stop bracket. Oddly, I never had to do that until that window was put back in after the body work.
