So on my 72 Challenger I have been running a T/A hood from Unlimited Products for nearly 20 years (I couldn't afford one from AAR Quality back then while in high school) and I finally decided it was time to step up and get a quality T/A. So back in early October I placed an order with AAR Quality/Stinger Fiberglass for their bolt on T/A. It arrived today, so roughly 3 1/2 month wait (which I was fine with and expected). Initial thoughts are the hood is really well made, but definitely a lot nicer than a factory original on the underside. I like that it has a provision for the factory hood latch, so I may attempt to hook that up. It does not appear to have markings for the windshield squirters (not a big deal for me) or for hood pins (this one is kind of a let down, but I can take care of it). It also has "AAR" molded into the underside of the hood, which one could fill if they want. It doesn't bother me, so I will likely leave it. Here are some initial pictures I took of the hood. This weekend I plan to test fit it on the car and work on filming a video of it so everyone can see close ups of it. Then I get to figure out when it will go to the paint shop. I do wish it was molded in black, so that way down the road when I get rock chips they won't show, but I can live with it.

I'm local to them and bought a T/A hood from them 10yrs ago  before they sold out to Stinger.
It's definitely a nice hood, wish I had known they cut holes for a hood latch, would have asked them to not do that.  Not crazy about the AAR molded in either, but it is what it is.

I want to order an AAR Cuda one, but I haven't pulled the trigger yet, thanks for the review...
