Trim studs

Hi Team, I have a 73 Cuda that was fitted with sill trims using the welded T studs, just like the studs used to hold the windshield trim clips, are these still available??? I thought I read somewhere you could use a stud gun to re weld new ones in place. Reason I'm asking is I'm actually removing the trim to clean the lines of the car up, the VX5 trim that was factory installed was screwed on so in order to be able to revert the car back to original I will lead fill the screw holes but I'd have to grind the studs off on the sill trim and just want to know if they can be re-done, should the car be reverted back to original, it's a matching numbers TX9 TX9 with original dealer paperwork. I'm building the car the way I want it however an refraining from metal removal or significant alterations, hence my question are the studs available
