Door Gasket Install Issue

I've unpackaged new door gaskets and the little toothed clips are carpal tunnel inducing trying to push them in. Anyone have any tricks? I've gotten a few, but wow.

Just thinking out loud...

Do you have any of those T handled allen wrenches?(the ones with the rubber coated T handle)  If you had a fairly large size, that might be useful for pressing on the clips.  The T handle part would be more comfortable on your hands.

I do. Perhaps I could try that in an inconspicuous area to make sure it doesn't damage the soft rubber.

They should push right in. Put a little white lube or something to make it slide easier. They have a little curve to the clips so try pushing in that direction too.

Yea, you hook the wide end in the hole then just simply click.....I've never had to use too much force  :dunno:
