I currently have my trunk hinge arms off while I'm cleaning and prepping my trunk area for epoxy primer; how much radial play is too much for the trunk hinge pin/bore?  Given the massive side to side play that the arms have between the hinge bracket and push retainer, I'm not really sure what good and bad are radially, LOL.  Mine have some play in them, maybe .060" if I were to guess with my calibrated wrist?  They don't appear to be egg shaped at all.

I can peen or weld the bore on the hinge arms while they are off and before I paint, so if anybody can give me an idea of what normal is, I'd appreciate it! I'd rather fix it now than after I have it back together and realize I have a problem. Bonus points for anyone with hard measurements!  Thanks in advance!
